Becoming a member of Kaleidoscope Singers

We are always pleased to hear from singers who are interested in joining us and are currently especially looking for additional Tenors and Basses.

Auditions

In a small choir it is important to get the blend right, so we ask potential new members to take an informal audition where you will be asked to sing on your own for our Musical Director, Zoe.
There is also a two month trial period singing with us, seeing how you blend and interact with your fellow singers. We're all very friendly so don't worry too much.
If you can read music that is ideal (some music is very challenging!) The most important requirements are good musicality, commitment and the wish to perform to a high standard.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held on Thursday evenings in Steyning. Start time is 7.30pm and we try to finish promptly at 9.00pm. We break during school holidays.
There is an annual subscription of £180, which can be paid in instalments, and members also contribute towards the cost of buying music.

How to apply

If you would like to join us, please send us an email using the form on the Contact page.
